The new NARUTO CARD GAME is scheduled for a worldwide launch in June 2027. At New York Comic Con 2026, Bandai confirmed three Starter Decks and an initial Booster Set, introducing a new international trading card game set in the Naruto universe.
That is exciting for fans and collectors, but the game is also different from Naruto Mythos, which you may already know. Here is what has been officially confirmed.
When does NARUTO CARD GAME release?
Bandai has announced June 2027 as the worldwide launch month. An exact release day for the Netherlands and a confirmed availability date at PokePlugTCG have not yet been announced. An announced launch is not a promise of in-store stock.
Three Starter Decks: Naruto, Sasuke and Gaara
Three preconstructed Starter Decks are planned for launch. Each has a different Leader and play style:
- Naruto Uzumaki — a prebuilt deck centered on Naruto.
- Sasuke Uchiha — its own strategy and lineup led by Sasuke.
- Gaara — a third ready-to-play approach for newcomers.
According to the official announcement, the decks include the cards needed to start learning the game. Final prices and availability in the Netherlands have not been confirmed by PokePlugTCG.
First Booster Set: Here Comes Naruto Uzumaki!
The official Naruto website calls the first Booster Set Here Comes Naruto Uzumaki! It features characters from Naruto and Naruto Shippuden, plus new shinobi and jutsu cards for collecting and deck building. In a separate English-language press release, Bandai used the title Enter: Naruto Uzumaki! The final product naming may therefore vary between official announcements.
How does the new Naruto card game work?
Bandai describes a strategic game where you aim to reduce the opposing Leader's life to zero. The core setup is:
- 1 Leader card that shapes your colours and strategy.
- A 50-card deck featuring characters and techniques.
- 5 Chakra cards and 1 Summon card as separate game components.
Individual card text and tournament rules may still be updated. Check Bandai's official rule materials closer to release.
Demo events before launch
Bandai has announced in-store sessions and Premier Demo Events starting in February 2027. It also plans to distribute one million Demo Decks worldwide during spring 2027.

Is NARUTO CARD GAME the same as Naruto Mythos?
No. They are separate trading card games. Naruto Mythos products are not expansions for Bandai's new NARUTO CARD GAME, and decks or boosters should not be treated as interchangeable. Always check the full game name and publisher before ordering.
